WOMEN IN SKILLED CAREERS (WISC) COORDINATOR

The Hampton Roads Workforce Council, the regional workforce development organization, is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Women in Skilled Careers Program Coordinator. This position will be responsible for the day to day coordination of the Women in Skilled Careers Program. These activities include case management, job search assistance, workplace readiness training facilitation, resource coordination, and data reporting. The annual salary for this position is $44,000, with excellent benefits, including the Virginia Retirement System. At this time, the grant is anticipated to operate until September 2020.

VETERANS SERVICES STAFF ASSISTANT 

The Hampton Roads Workforce Council (HRWC), a regional workforce development organization, is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Veteran Services Staff Assistant. This position is housed in the Hampton Roads Veterans Employment Center (HRVEC) in Norfolk and is primarily responsible for in-person and telephone customer assistance; service level reports; general clerical and office tasks; and, other service delivery related tasks in support of the daily operation of the HRVEC. The HRVEC is a component of the Virginia Career Works Hampton Roads - Norfolk Comprehensive Center. The minimum annual salary for this position is $23,166, with excellent benefits. DIRECTOR OF GRANTS AND PROPOSAL DEVELOPMENT

The Hampton Roads Workforce Council, the regional workforce development organization, is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Director of Grants and Proposal Development. This position will be responsible for the full range of resource development activities to support the mission. These activities include grant and proposal writing and reporting with public agencies, private foundations and corporations. Specifically, this staff is responsible for writing proposals for both unrestricted operating revenue and restricted projects and for submitting timely and accurate reports for all existing grant funded projects.
